Dr. Christine E. Nygaard, MD
As a well-established plastic surgeon in the community, Dr. Christine Nygaard continues to demonstrate her commitment to excellence in patient care and surgical technique. The foundation of her practice is based upon the principles and values she has derived from both her medical training and personal life experiences. Dr. Nygaard strives to provide the best cosmetic surgery experience possible for each of her patients. Her entire office is dedicated to creating a personalized surgical plan that addresses the individual’s concerns and allows them to be treated with the fullest care and attention towards each of his or her needs.
Dr. Nygaard has been practicing in Bellevue for more than 20 years. During that time, she has helped hundreds of people achieve their personal goals. She is a Midwest native, born and raised in Southeast Michigan. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Michigan University in 1980, with a degree in Medical Technology and she received her medical degree from Michigan State University in 1985. She completed a five-year residency in Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she specialized in plastic surgery, and completed a two-year fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia.
Following her fellowship, she relocated to Bellevue, Washington and started the Renaissance Center for Facial and Body Sculpting. Her areas of interest and cosmetic surgery specialties include liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), breast surgery (breast reduction, breast lift, breast augmentation, and chest contouring), and facial rejuvenation (facelift, brow lift, neck lift, and eyelid surgery). Her practice is dedicated to enhancing the patient’s appearance, which should have a positive effect on the individual’s self-image and self-esteem. Her endeavor is to provide the highest quality and most personalized cosmetic surgical experience possible. Dr. Nygaard is board certified in both general and plastic surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Washington Society of Plastic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, the Washington State Medical Society, and King County Medical Society.
Jeremy Maji is our Registered Nurse here at Renaissance Center, with over 11 years of experience. He has a background in emergency medicine, surgical gynecology, oncology, and neurosurgery, as well as general, plastic, and reconstructive surgery, which all provide him with a wide range of experience. He is currently continuing his education by working to achieve his Registered Nurse First Assist in surgery.
Here at Renaissance Center, Jeremy provides excellent patient care as part of our clinical and surgical team. He works closely with Dr. Nygaard throughout the entire duration of your time here at our clinic, from your initial consultation, to assisting during surgery. Jeremy assures you are comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. In his time away from Renaissance Center, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family and 16 year old son, is an avid soccer and Seahawk fan, and loves traveling to see his wife in Australia as often as he can!
Sarah Meyer is our Certified Medical Assistant here at Renaissance Center. She began her medical career at age 18 with the achievement of her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and, subsequently, her Medical Assistant license in 2007. Sarah’s experience began in the primary care environment, and has increased in scope to now include plastic surgery.
She has a special interest in aesthetics and working with others to increase their self-confidence through medical means. Proficient with all aspects of patient care, Sarah works in partnership with the operating room staff to deliver exceptional care through consultations, pre and post-operation appointments, and general back office support.
Sarah’s role has evolved to include operating room circulator, and is typically a patient’s first point of contact on surgery days. With her love of aesthetics and her background in both primary care and plastic surgery, expect to feel comfortable and confident with Sarah!
In her free time, Sarah enjoys yoga and being active, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dog.
Cambria King is our Patient Care Coordinator and Licensed Aesthetician, with 11 years of experience in the medical field. She began her work as a certified medical assistant back in 2004, and has spent the majority of her career working in plastic surgery and dermatology. Cambria also has her Master Aesthetician license, with four years of experience in skincare.
Her role at Renaissance Center is a combination of coordinating the surgery schedule and performing skin care treatments to our patients. As Patient Care Coordinator, she will guide you through the surgery scheduling process and ensure that everything goes smoothly, from your initial consultation to your last appointment in the office.
In her free time, Cambria enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, wine tasting, and Seahawks football!
Meshelle Anderson joined Renaissance Center in 2015, with a background in medical assisting, marketing, and 10 years in the beauty industry. Her customer service skills are displayed as she greets our patients upon entering, and she provides the most exceptional service from your initial phone call to your last visit in the office. She takes pride in providing compassionate customer care!
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she loves the Seahawks, coffee, running (in the rain), hiking, baking, and reading.
