At Renaissance, our staff’s primary focus is on patient education and on providing attentive, supportive consultation services and perioperative care. We will provide continual support and encouragement as you journey through your surgical experience, from our first meeting until your final postoperative visit. Iveta has over 28 years nursing experience, and first assists Dr. Nygaard in the operating room here at our facility, and at Overlake Hospital. She specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and is committed to providing the best service as a surgical first assist. Her work ethic, combined with her empathy towards patients, will comfort you as you enter the operating room for your procedure. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking, baking and spending time with her husband and two fur babies!

DSC_0971Sarah Meyer, CMA

Sarah is our Certified Medical Assistant here at Renaissance Center. She began her medical career at age 18 with the achievement of her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and, subsequently, her Medical Assistant license in 2007. Sarah’s experience began in the primary care environment and has increased in scope to include plastic surgery. She has a special interest in aesthetics, and working with others to increase their self-confidence thru medical means. Proficient with all aspects of patient care, Sarah works in partnership with the operating room staff to deliver exceptional care thru consultations, pre and post-operation appointments, and general back office support. Sarah’s role has evolved to include operating room circulator and is typically a patient’s first point of contact on surgery days. With her love of aesthetics and her background in both primary care and plastic surgery, expect to feel comfortable and confident with Sarah! In her free time, Sarah enjoys yoga & being active, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dog.

Cambria is our Patient Care Coordinator and Licensed Aesthetician, with 12 years of experience in the medical field. She began her work as a certified medical assistant back in 2004, and has spent the majority of her career working in plastic surgery and dermatology. Cambria also has her Master Aesthetician license, with years of experience in skincare. Her role at Renaissance Center is a combination of coordinating the surgery schedule and performing skin care treatments to our patients. As Patient Care Coordinator, she will guide you through the surgery scheduling process and ensure that everything goes smoothly, from your initial consultation to your last appointment in the office. In her free time, Cambria enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, wine tasting, and Seahawks football!

Meshelle is our Front Desk Coordinator, with a background in medical assisting, marketing and 10 years in the beauty industry. Her customer service skills are highlighted as she greets our patients upon entering Renaissance Center. Meshelle provides the most exceptional service from your initial phone call to your last visit in the office. She takes pride in providing compassionate customer care! Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she loves the Seahawks, coffee, running (in the rain), hiking, baking, and reading.

Ashley is our Insurance Specialist/Medical Biller and Certified Nurse Assistant here at Renaissance Center, with over 6 years of experience in the medical field. Her primary role at Renaissance Center pertains to all insurance related matters from coverage and benefits to pre-authorization, claims processing and appeals. For patients seeking insurance covered surgeries, Ashley will walk you through obtaining authorization for surgery, and provides out of pocket estimates for surgical expenses.  She acts as a liaison between your insurance plan and our office, and can address all matters pertaining to your surgery. Ashley also functions as both front and back office support, helping out as needed with front desk, operating room, and clinical duties Ashley also recently became a Licensed Massage Practitioner, and hopes to expand ongoing post-operative care with lymphatic drainage and medical massage services. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the wonderful opportunities the Northwest has to offer.
